LUKE JONES BRINGS 19 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
(Little Rock, AR) – (Oct. 7, 2024) – Mainstream Technologies is pleased to announce the hiring of Luke Jones as Senior Cybersecurity Consultant. His responsibilities will include conducting formal risk assessments and guiding customers through the applicable security framework assessment process. He will also assist customers by guiding the implementation of controls for cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance strategy.
Luke’s 19 years of experience includes working with Trend Micro, Inc. for 8 years as Senior Cybersecurity Technical Consultant. He also worked with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise for 4 ½ years as a Senior Cybersecurity Technical Consultant and as a Technical Account Manager serving strategic accounts.
He has an associate’s degree in computer information systems: computer networking and multiple technical certifications in cybersecurity including Certified Ethical Hacker with EC-Council. As a professor, Luke has also taught working adult students computer networking and cybersecurity certification training curriculum with real-world experiences.
He has many hobbies that include reading, hiking, kayaking, axe throwing, and woodworking.
He and his family are involved in micro-farming that includes raising full Nigerian Dwarf goats and breeds of domestic fowl such as unique chicken breeds, royal palm turkeys, and peacocks.
He volunteers with FEMA, the Red Cross, and the FBI’s InfraGard. Additionally, he volunteers with non-profits in their youth learning efforts to develop future cybersecurity defenders.
