Brings 5 1/2 years of Software Development experience
(Little Rock, AR) – (Oct. 7, 2021 – Mainstream Technologies is pleased to announce the hiring of Kate Ramsey as a software developer. Her responsibilities will include the design, development, and deployment of full-stack software solutions.
Kate has 5 1/2 years of software development experience, most of which was with Ingen Software of Cabot. She is a graduate of Harding University with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Electronic Media Production. She also has a Certificate in Backend Software Development from the Iron Yard.
Kate’s main hobby is playing Dungeons & Dragons where “I get to practice a lot of skills that I use in my work. Playing D&D, you work on a team so there’s collaboration and communication. You use creative problem solving, for example managing limited resources. And because you’re pretending to be somebody else, it’s helped me empathize with people who are different from me. Plus, it’s fun!” Now that covid restrictions are loosening up, Kate is looking forward to traveling more. She lives in Sherwood, close to her young nieces, as well as the rest of her extended family and many friends.
