Mainstream Technologies is a technology services company headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas. We create, manage, and secure technology for business and government customers across the nation through our Custom Software Development Services, Managed Technology and Hosting Services, and Cyber Security Services.
Our Leadership
John Burgess
President
John Burgess is a co-founder of Mainstream Technologies and has served as President since its inception in 1996.
John actively participates in civic and professional organizations, having served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce. He also currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the International Association of Cloud and Managed Services Providers (MSP Alliance), on the Board of the Little Rock Technology Park, and on the Board of the Arkansas Institute for Performance Excellence.
John believes passionately in the value of STEM education and STEM-related careers as a vehicle for economic development and societal improvement and actively supports various organizations which promote STEM, including The Academies of Central Arkansas, The Museum of Discovery, and the Arkansas Advanced Initiative for Math and Science.
Jeff Byers
Vice President
Software Solutions
Jeff Byers serves as the Vice President of Software Solutions. As Vice President, he oversees the software services teams and has ultimate responsibility for quality assurance and client satisfaction for ALL THINGS PROGRAMMING (ATP). Mr. Byers monitors each client engagement to ensure that their expectations are either met or exceeded using proven technologies and processes.
Prior to joining Mainstream Technologies, Jeff served as a software developer for ALLTEL Information Services (Fidelity Information Systems) and Dillard’s Inc.’s supply chain system team. Mr. Byers is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock.
Jeff graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri.
Chris Church
Vice President
Managed Services
Chris Church serves as Vice President of Managed Services. Chris oversees the IT services team to identify customer requirements, develop technology strategies, and implement solutions that best fit the customer’s business objectives and budget.
Prior to joining Mainstream Technologies, Chris brought a wealth of experience working in technical and leadership roles during his 30+ year IT career. Prior to that, he was Director of Professional Services with VeriSource, which was subsequently acquired by ClearPointe. He spent the first 18 years of his career with Datamax as a service engineer and Network Services Manager.
Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
